LINK Transport Network
Clonburris Speculative Design Winning project for Dublin City Council, 2021 Made in collaboration with Ciara McGowan and Libby Chambers.
For this speculative design project, we were asked to design a product, system or service for a new community to start development in 2030. We decided to create LINK; a system connecting the people of Clonburris to their community and to each other in an environmentally sustainable way. It is sustainable consisting of electric bikes and scooters, a path network as well as several community hubs. The system is also self-sufficient powering itself and the community centre through solar & kinetic energy.
