GRAPHIC DESIGN PLUS

Visual Identity Proposal for BA Visual Communication Design rebrand, 2020. Made in collaboration with Ciara McGowan and Libby Chambers.

With the introduction of the rebranded Visual Communication Design programme at IADT to Graphic Design Plus, we were tasked with creating a new identity for the programme. This included a dedicated microsite, wayfinding within the college, promotional materials and an archive system for showcasing student work.

CHALLENGES + OBJECTIVES
The challenges faced by the programme were a lack of understanding of the course, a lack of personality in promotional materials and the reputation not fully realized. Our aim as a group was to develop understanding of the course while making the course more approachable, promoting the strong reputation outside of industry and creating an accessible identity.
OUTCOMES
The outcomes included a new identity, implementation strategy, promotional materials and wayfinding assets which all addressed the challenges we had identified and sought to overcome.
